Si intitola Out Of The Woods il secondo singolo di Taylor Swift, che anticipa l’uscita del quinto disco in studio intitolato 1989, opera che vedrà la luce in Italia il prossimo 28 ottobre.
Dopo Shake It Off, n. 1 della classifica USA e cinque settimane consecutive al secondo posto dietro solo al tormentone di Meghan Trainor “All About That Bass”, la cantautrice ed attrice statunitense è pronta a mostrarci il video di questa canzone, secondo tassello della nuova era discografica pubblicato su iTunes il 14 ottobre scorso.
Lo scorso 13 ottobre mattina nella trasmissione Good Morning America, la cantante ha infatti fatto vedere un’anteprima di 15 secondi del filmato che accompagnerà l’inedito. In tale occasione la Swift ha detto che questo pezzo, è uno dei suoi preferiti del nuovo lavoro, in quanto rappresenta al meglio il disco. L’artista ha anche spiegato che la canzone parla della fragilità e della natura delicata di alcune relazioni affettive. A quanto pare il singolo è ispirato alla relazione tra la cantante ed Harry Styles, membro dei One Direction.
Il brano Out Of The Woods è stato coscritto dalla Swift insieme a Jack Antonoff (membro dei Fun.); i due l’hanno anche prodotto insieme a Max Martin.
Out Of The Woods ha chiare influenze anni ’80, e dovrebbe essere rilasciato come singolo promozionale, sotto forma di countdown single, visto che l’uscita dell’album è molto vicina.
Secondo il mio parere questa canzone pop è decisamente orecchiabile e radio friendly, è potrebbe indubbiamente dare molte soddisfazioni all’interprete. Staremo a vedere come si comporterà nelle classifiche.
