In data 20 gennaio 2014, è uscito un nuovo brano di David Guetta ft. Skylar Grey che si intitola Shot Me Down.
Questo pezzo inaugura una serie di beats prettamente dance, che usciranno per un mese esclusivamente su Beatport (almeno inizialmente), il tutto in attesa del sesto album in studio del dj francese, sul quale l’artista sta lavorando.
Shot Me Down è una canzone creata per i clubs, e già testata nel tour in Brasile e nei club da Miami a Las Vegas. Lo scopo è quello di fare impazzire i fans, di farli ballare a più non posso. Secondo voi c’è riuscito?
Il brano riprende in chiave dance, la hit di successo di Cher intitolata “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot me Down)”, e non dovrebbe finire nella tracklist di alcun futuro album (rettifichiamo in quanto il brano è estratto dal disco Listen, uscito il 25 novembre 2014).
