Geronimo è il titolo del nuovo singolo degli Sheppard, emergente e promettente band indie pop australiana formata da Jay Bovino, Michael Butler, Dean Gordon, Amy, Emma e George Sheppard.

Il secondo singolo in carriera battezzato Geronimo, arriva ora anche in Italia: il brano viene trasmesso dalle emittenti radiofoniche dallo scorso 4 luglio, e dal 14 luglio è disponibile in sownload digitale su iTunes e le altre piattaforme.
L’orecchiabile pezzo, è divenuto il primo singolo indipendente, a posizionarsi in vetta alla classifica relativa ai singoli più scaricati in Australia, in oltre un trentennio di storia.
Geronimo, già doppio Disco di Platino, è ad un passo dalla certificazione triplo Platino, e per ben 2 mesi consecutivi, è stata la canzone più trasmessa dalle radio australiane.
E’ questo il biglietto da visita dell’ottimo brano di questo gruppo creato nel 2009 dai fratelli Sheppard, a cui si sono successivamente aggiunti Bovino, Butler e Gordon. La band ha recentemente firmato con la Decca Records.
Geronimo è una canzone prodotta e registrata da Stuart Stuart presso gli Analog Heart Studios, ed il titolo è un riferimento al famoso condottiero nativo americano, uno dei più famosi capi degli Apache, che aveva l’abitudine di urlare il suo nome prima di fare un atto coraggioso.
