Da gennaio 2021 è on air il nuovo spot della Toyota C-HR Hybrid GR Sport e mi avete chiesto quale sia il titolo della canzone che fa da colonna sonora a questa pubblicità, della quale al momento non sono riuscito a trovare il video. Edit: eccolo.
Senza troppi fronzoli, il brano si intitola I Got The Feeling ed è dei The Endeavors, che è stata una band funk di Nashville, USA, che si sciolse nel 1977. Su questo gruppo non vi sono molte informazioni. Ecco quel poco che sono riuscito a trovare.
Tre dei suoi membri, Benny Wallace, Jimmy Stewart e Charles Glenn, formarono un nuovo gruppo che chiamarono Ozono. Il trio ha successivamente reclutato il trombettista Thomas Bumpass, William “Billy” White (sassofonista e cantante), Ray Woodward (sassofonista e cantante), il chitarrista Greg Hargrove e il batterista Paul Hines. Nel 1981 il chitarrista Herman Brown ha sostituito Greg Hargrove.

A fare da colonna sonora alla pubblicità, una contagiosa canzone decisamente adatta a ciò che si vede nella campagna. Qual è il titolo? Ve lo dico appena dopo il video.
