Scare Away the Dark è il nuovo singolo di Passenger, secondo estratto dal nuovo album Whispers, rilasciato il 10 giugno 2014.
Dopo il singolo “Heart’s on Fire” ed i promozionali “Whispers” “Coins in a Fountain“, “Start A Fire” e “Golden Leaves“, Mike Rosenberg rilascia il video ufficiale che accompagna il secondo singolo estratto dal nuovo lavoro, il tutto mentre la sua hit di successo “Let Her Go” viene ancora trasmessa dalle radio. Dopo l’immagine relativa alla cover, potete vedere questo filmato, che è stato diretto da James Lees e prodotto da Kimberly Stuckwisch.
Lo stile della traccia di chiusura del disco è sempre lo stesso: il suo tanto fedele folk-rock che ha reso celebre la sua “Let Her Go”, anche se a mio parere risulta meno incisivo rispetto alla hit che nel 2013, ha ottenuto davvero ottimi quanto insperati risultati…
