Ready to Run è la traccia numero due tratta da Four, quarto disco dei One Direction uscito il 17 novembre 2014. Com’era prevedibile, il nuovo lavoro del gruppo britannico ha ottenuto prime posizioni in tanti paesi come Argentina, Australia, Belgio, Canada, Danimarca, Olanda, Irlanda, Italia, Giappone, Messico, Nuova Zelanda, Norvegia, Portogallo, Scozia, UK, Svezia e Stati Uniti, un successo a livello globale insomma. Dal quarto progetto in studio, sono stati estratti i singoli i “Steal My Girl“, Night Changes” ed il promozionale Fireproof.
La canzone Ready to Run porta la firma di Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Jamie Scott, Julian Bunetta e John Ryan; gli ultimi due hanno anche curato la produzione di questo bel pezzo, attraverso il quale la boyband esprime il desiderio di fuggire via insieme alla ragazza amata.
