Anaconda è il titolo del nuovo singolo della rapper Nicki Minaj, secondo estratto dal terzo studio album The Pink Print, che non ha ancora una data di rilascio.
Dopo Pills N Potions, arriva questa già criticatissima canzone, se non altro per la spinta copertina (al contrario dell’immagine che vedete in alto, scattata in uno shoot fotografico il cui scopo è ancora un mistero), come del resto il testo scritto dalla cantante insieme a Jamal Jones, Jonathan Solone-Myvett, Ernest Clark, Marcos Palacios e Anthony Ray. La produzione è invece stata affidata a Polow da Don ed il duo di producer statunitensi Da Internz.
Il secondo brano della nuova era discografica della rapper, avrà il compito di risollevare Nicki nelle classifiche, visto che “Pills n Potions” non è riuscito ad entrare nella Top10 statunitense rivelandosi un mezzo flop.
Dubito che Anaconda ci riuscirà, in quanto non si tratta di certo una traccia bellissima e di grande impatto, ma sono certo che i seguaci della Minaj apprezzeranno comunque. Il testo parla del grave problema sociale sempre più diffuso: il big fat booty.
Pubblicata in data odierna in digital download, questa canzone sarà prossimamente accompagnata dal video ufficiale del quale è già possibile vedere un’anteprima di qualche secondo. In attesa di vedere la versione integrale, accontentiamoci dell’audio che potete ascoltare di seguito.
