Down By the River è il secondo singolo dei Milky Chance estratto dall’album Sadnecessary, primo album del duo folk-rock di origine tedesca.
I Milky Chance tornano quindi in radio con questa bella canzone, che viene infatti trasmessa dalle emittenti radiofoniche nazionali dal 23 gennaio 2015.
Dopo lo straordinario successo conseguito con il singolo Stolen Dance, pezzo che è stato utilizzato per film e pubblicità, e che su Youtube ha ottenuto oltre 112.000.000 di click, ed dopo aver parlato dell’altro estratto dal citato disco Flashed Junk Mind, è il momento di questo pezzo, accompagnato da un bel video ufficiale diretto da Felix Urbauer nella foresta vicino al Wannsee di Berlino.
