Suitcase è il nuovo singolo di Mary J Blige estratto dalla colonna sonora del film Think Like A Man Too, nuova commedia americana diretta da Tim Story, sequel del film 2012 Think Like a Man.
Le tracce dell’album relativo alla soundtrack, sono tutte interpretate dalla cantante statunitense: l’opera è disponibile dal 17 giugno in digital download, mentre vedrà la luce il 1° luglio 2014 nella versione CD, ed è composta da quattordici tracce tutte inedite, ad eccezione della traccia intitolata A Night To Remember, cover della famosa hit degli Shalamar datata 1982. La colonna sonora vede ospiti del calibro di Pharrell Williams e del cantautore americano The-Dream.
Nel singolo Suitcase, scritto da Crystal Nicole, Adrian Sotomayor e Mark J. Feist che l’ha anche prodotto, l’artista dice di essere stufa ed insoddisfatta della sua travagliata relazione affettiva. La regina dell’R&B ci regala un brano che definirei ipnotico, con bellissime atmosfere musicali, come del resto la sua incredibile voce.
Il brano di punta della colonna sonora, è ora accompagnato dal video ufficiale caricato nella pagina Youtube dell’interprete in data 20 giugno. Potete vederlo subito dopo l’immagine relativa alla copertina (è stato spostato ad inizio articolo).
