Bumblebeee è il titolo del nuovo singolo dei Kasabian, secondo estratto dal nuovo album 48:13 rilasciato in Italia il 10 giugno 2014. Un’opera dal titolo abbastanza strano, che fa riferimento alla durata totale.
Dopo il primo singolo Eez-eh è il momento di questo brano, che è stato prodotto dal chitarrista del gruppo britannico Sergio Pizzorno, come del resto tutti i pezzi del nuovo lavoro.
Bumblebeee è stata la seconda traccia presentata in anticipo rispetto alla pubblicazione dell’LP, in occasione del concerto del gruppo svoltosi a Parigi il 30 aprile 2014. Successivamente è stata suonata una seconda volta alla trasmissione della BBC “Later… with Jools Holland” del 13 maggio.
Secondo la band, questa energica canzone è una delle migliori contenute nel disco 48:13, ed è caratterizzata da potenti linee di chitarra hard rock ed un ritornello definito a metà tra Led Zeppelin e House of Pain.
Poche ore fa è uscito il video ufficiale che accompagna questa canzone, registrato tra il 5 e il 7 giugno a Parigi, con la collaborazione di alcuni fan che sono stati invitati a partecipare dalla band.
