Torna alla ribalta Noel Gallagher, l’ex voce degli Oasis, con il singolo battezzato In the Heat of the Moment, brano che fa da apripista al nuovo progetto discografico Chasing Yesterday, il cui rilascio è previsto per il prossimo 2 marzo.
Il secondo album con High Flying Byrds, fa seguito a Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds uscito nel 2011, e contiene dieci tracce, mentre nell’edizione deluxe ci saranno 4 canzoni aggiuntive. Ecco la tracklist del disco:

L’uscita dell’album, sarà seguita da una tournee mondiale, che sbarcherà anche l’Italia, esattamente al Fabrique di Milano sabato 14 marzo 2015 al Fabrique di Milano. I biglietti per assistere ad uno dei 13 concerti in programma, saranno disponibili in esclusiva per gli utenti My Live Nation dalle ore 10 di giovedì 16 ottobre, e in vendita generale dalle ore 10 di venerdì 17 ottobre.
Il singolo In the Heat of the Moment, è in rotazione radiofonica in Italia da lunedì 13 ottobre 2014, sarà pubblicato il prossimo 16 novembre, ed è stato prodotto dallo stesso Noel Gallagher, come del resto l’intero nuovo lavoro, il cui secondo singolo sarà la traccia conclusiva della standard edition del disco intitolata Ballad of the Mighty I, che vede la presenza di Johnny Marr, ex chitarrista degli Smiths.
Tra le canzoni del disco, ci sono anche Freaky teeth, Revolution song e The dying of the light, che ormai da diverso tempo circolano su internet sotto forma di demo o registrazioni dal vivo.
