The Night We Met è un singolo dell’emergente boyband irlandese HomeTown, scritto da Liam Payne dei One DIrection insieme a Jamie Scott, quello che ha co-firmato alcune delle hit degli O.D. come ad esempio Story of My Life e You and I.
Visto che gli One Direction si sono presi un annetto di pausa, Payne ne ha approfittato per co-scrivere quest’orecchiabile canzone ed annunciare il tutto sui social network. In passato, Payne ha scritto per Cheryl Cole, I Won’t Break. Non è quindi nuovo nelle vesti di autore…
Per la cronaca, gli HomeTown sono un gruppo irlandese (come i One Direction), fondato da Louis Walsh (ex giudice di X Factor) e composto da Brendan Murray, Cian Morrin, Dayl Cronin, Dean Gibbons, Josh Gray e Ryan McLoughlin.
