A oltre cinque mesi di distanza da Tick Tock, i Clean Bandit tornano con Higher, nuovo singolo disponibile ovunque da venerdì 29 gennaio 2021. Se la precedente release veniva interpretata da Mabel e 24kGoldn, il brano in oggetto viene cantato da iann dior, al secolo Michael Ian Olmo, rapper e cantautore americano di origine portoricana.
Il trio britannico composto da Grace Chatto, Jack & Luke Patterson, torna con questo piacevole brano, una produzione scritta insieme a Dan Smith, cantautore dei Bastille, che anticipa il futuro terzo album in studio del gruppo, successore di What Is Love? (2018).
Nel singolo, il protagonista parla dell’effetto a dir poco benefico che una persona ha avuto nella sua vita.
Il video musicale sarà online dalle ore 17 del 29 gennaio. Il filmato è stato girato in Giamaica alla fine del 2020 e vedrà l’apparizione di Shaggy, artista reggae giamaicano che non ha di certo bisogno di presentazioni.
