Sledgehammer è il nuovo singolo delle Fifth Harmony, secondo estratto dall’album di debutto intitolato Reflection, che vedrà la luce la seconda metà di novembre.
Prodotto da Julian Bunetta, Daylight, Joe London e Ricky Reed, il disco sarà formato da undici tracce nella versione standard, più tre pezzi bonus presenti nella deluxe edition. Tuttavia al momento in cui scrivo, non è ancora stata svelata la tracklist ufficiale.
Dopo l’ottimo riscontro ottenuto con il primo singolo Bo$$, ed aver ascoltato il promozionale Them Girls Be Like, è arrivato il momento di ascoltare il secondo tassello della prima era discografica della girl band statunitense formata da Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen e Lauren Jauregui.
Per la prima volta in carriera, il gruppo diventato celebre per la partecipazione alla seconda stagione di X Factor US, è riuscita a piazzare un singolo di successo, un inno femminista con dedica precisa a Michelle Obama.
Il secondo singolo Sledgehammer, viene trasmesso nelle radio americane dal 23 ottobre scorso. Si tratta di un pezzo pop decisamente orecchiabile ed adatto alle trasmissioni radiofoniche, che potrebbe diventare la seconda hit della band.
