Crying for No Reason, è il nuovo singolo della cantautrice britannica Kathleen Brien in arte Katy B, che anticipa l’uscita del nuovo nonché secondo album in studio “Little Red“, il cui rilascio è previsto per il prossimo 3 febbraio.

Crying for No Reason, è una canzone pop dance scritta da Kathleen Brien, Gordon Warren e Guy Chambers; una potente ballad/mid tempo con sonorità per lo più organiche, per una performance vocale di Katy decisamente lodevole. In data 26 dicembre, è uscito il relativo videoclip del brano che potete vedere quì di seguito.
Dopo il grande successo dell’album d’esordio “On a mission” uscito quasi tre anni fa, e la vittoria ai NME Awards del 2012 con il brano “Broken Record”, ma anche gli insuccessi ottenuti con i singoli “What Love Is Made of” e del primo estratto “5 AM” (al debutto rispettivamente in 21esima e 14esima posizione nella single chart britannica, per poi dileguarsi rapidamente dalla graduatoria,) Katy B torna alla ribalta con questo disco e con questo pezzo, che a mio parere è un discreto biglietto da visita per il nuovo lavoro, la cui uscita è sempre più vicina.
