Burning Gold è il titolo del nuovo singolo della cantautrice statunitense Christina Perry, secondo estratto da Head or Heart, album rilasciato lo scorso 1 aprile per Atlantic Records.
Dopo la splendida Human, per rilanciare il nuovo disco la cantante di Philadelphia punta su questa canzone, scritta dalla Perri e Kid Harpoon, mentre la produzione è stata curata da John Hill e Butch Walker.
Devo dire che la scelta è più che condivisibile visto e considerato che si tratta di un bel brano, come del resto un pò tutte le tracce facenti parte del nuovo LP.
In data 1 agosto 2014 è stato caricato nella pagina Youtube dell’interprete, il video ufficiale che accompagna Burning Gold. Nel filmato vediamo la Perri interpretare il ruolo di una cameriera di un locale, che si innamora di un cantante famoso conosciuto sul posto di lavoro. L’amore sembra reciproco, ma quando la cameriera scopre di essere tradita, cogliendo sul fatto l’uomo, decide di dare fuoco alla sua automobile…
