Burning Bridges è il nuovo EP dei Bon Jovi, che sarà rilasciato il 28 agosto 2015. Il mini-album è composto da appena due tracce outtakes, cioè brani scritti in passato ma mai ufficialmente rilasciati.
Il disco è stato inciso da Jon Bon Jovi (voce e chitarra), David Bryan (tastiere), Tico Torres (batteria), Hugh McDonald (basso) e John Shanks (chitarra). I fans noteranno l’assenza dello storico chitarrista Richie Sambora, da sempre fedele alla rock band statunitense. Si tratta quindi del primo lavoro senza Richie, che avrebbe abbandonato il gruppo, non per questioni legate al denaro, bensì al fine di rinnovare la propria vena creativa. A sostituirlo il nuovo chitarrista Phil X al secolo Philip Eric Xenidis.
Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning è il singolo estratto dal mini-progetto, una canzone che ha debuttato in radio su Hitradio Ö3 (emittente radiofonica austriaca) il 17 luglio 2015 e che sarà rilasciata il 31 luglio 2015.
Il secondo singolo estratto dall’album “We Don’t Run” ha debuttato su Radio Rock (emittente radiofonica brasiliana) il 20 luglio 2015 e uscirà il 31 luglio 2015. A differenza di precedente singolo, questa canzone è stata esclusivamente scritta per Burning Bridges.
Aggiornamento: l’album è formato da dieci tracce e non due come avevamo precedentemente riportato. La tracklist è stata aggiornata.
