Si intitola Harlem Shake il nuovo tormentone che questa volta è firmato dal musicista americano Harry Rodrigues meglio conosciuto come Baauer.

Il pezzo, debuttò direttamente alla numero uno nella Billboard Hot 100, un risultato a dir poco sbalorditivo.

Di conseguenza, su Youtube il fenomeno si è dilagato; sono nati tantissimi video amatoriali, che riprendono comuni persone che ballano il ritornello. Un video davvero virale…

Una crescita lenta ma costante, se consideriamo che il produttore musicale di New York Baauer, caricò il video su YouTube nella prima metà del 2012.

Si tratta di una danza tribale, il cui successo è dovuto a Filthy Frank, youtuber 19enne che ha 13mila follower da tutto il mondo. E’ stato proprio questo ragazzo a far scoppiare l’Harlem-mania, facendo un balletto improvvisato  insieme ai suoi amici, tutti vestiti in maniera ridicola.
