Dopo Send It, parliamo di Way Up, singolo di Austin Mahone, anch’esso rilasciato lo scorso 19 agosto. Entrambe le canzoni del giovane cantautore statunitense, dovrebbero essere incluse nel debut album, che arriverà dopo un mixtape e un paio di EP.
Devo ammettere che tra i due brani, quello che mi è piaciuto di più è senz’altro Send It, ad ogni modo anche questo pezzo non è male.
Il significato: nell’inedito, Mahone parla di una ragazza a dir poco superficiale, che ha il solo intento di apparire e raggiungere l’agognata fama, mentre Austin cerca solo una persona con cui stare bene e che lo ami davvero.
E’ più o meno questo il concept del singolo, accompagnato dal lyric video che lo ritrae insieme ad una bella biondina. Al contrario di quanto recita il testo, Mahone non sembra che la disprezzi, anzi… Non a caso ci sta anche a letto…
